A 77-year-old man who lives in the suburb of Sunrigde in Gqeberha became the latest victim of a house robbery.
It is alleged that the complainant was sleeping in his house in Gazania Avenue on Tuesday when the sound of broken glass woke him up at 1.15 am.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says when the man went to his lounge he was confronted by an unknown suspect wearing a balaclava, pointing a firearm.
She says the suspect then proceeded to open the door for his accomplice and they stole a TV set, wallet, blankets and cushions.
