A man was seemingly kidnapped on Friday morning in the vicinity of Auto X in Lindsay road opposite the Livingstone Hospital in Gqeberha,
The victim is believed to be the CEO of Auto X and his name will be release once police give media permission to do so.
Our reporter Lynn Williams who rushed to the scene tells us that the victim's luxury vehicle, a Mercedes Benz was left abandoned with its passenger door still wide open.
It is believed that a group of about four or five men dragged him out of his car before shoving him into a different vehicle.
A Nissan NP200 bakkie, without a license plate, was seemingly used in the kidnapping but the vehicle is still at the crime scene.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Metro has been plagued by recent kidnappings.
