A liquor outlet in First Avenue Walmer in Gqeberha fell victim to a robbery on Thursday afternoon.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says shortly after 4 pm about three men entered the outlet and confronted staff.
He says one man kept the security guard at the entrance while two others approached the cashiers to open their tills.
The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money from Tops, several bottles of alcohol and a cell phone.
Beetge says they fled the scene in a white Toyota Tazz.
A case of business robbery is under investigation.
