One of the men alleged to be involved in the killing of a Gqeberha teenager made a brief appearance in the Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The state alleges that Zane Geyers is linked to the murder of 14-year-old Kurtley Rossouw and Justin Malgas, 25, in a drive-by shooting incident in Bethelsdorp last June.
Rossouw was in the yard of his house when he was hit in the back by a stray bullet.

Geyers stood in the dock alone on Thursday, as his co-accused, Cheslyn Philander, was killed in Gelvan Park on 23 December last year.
His attorney, Theuns Roelofse informed the court that Geyers and Philander were brothers.
He mentioned that Philander had been granted bail before his death and that during his bail application, he informed the court that he had been with Geyers on the day of the shooting.
For this reason, Roelofse wants an alibi statement and transcripts of the bail application to be handed up in court, before Geyers launches a new bid for bail.
Roelofse said Geyers had previously abandoned bail, due to a pending case against him, but this case has since been withdrawn.
"Once I have gathered all of the documentation needed, we will proceed with a bail application," said Roelofse.
Geyers' case was remanded to Monday.
Meikhyl Wynford, 30, and Enzo Kingsley, 29, have been charged with Philander's murder.
Wynford and Kingsley have been in custody since their arrest on 23 January.
They will apply for bail on 15 February.
The police had previously confirmed Philander flouted his bail conditions on the night he was killed.
According to police, Philander was "a known gangster."
