Two suspects who allegedly hijacked a motorcyclist in Gqeberha on Tuesday are in police custody.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says at about 8.30 pm the complainant was driving his black Hero 100CC on Springbok Street in Gelvandale when he was hit with a stone.
She says the complainant lost control and fell off his bike.
Two suspects, aged 21 and 34 ran towards him and started searching him.
Janse van Rensburg says the man managed to run away and the suspects drove off with his bike.
She says the Gqeberha K9 unit recovered the motorcycle on 6th Avenue in Algoa Park where the suspects were arrested.
They are expected to appear in court soon on charges of hijacking
