The Eastern Cape received some good rainfall overnight including in the catchment areas where Patensie was the highest at 32 millimetres.
Garth Sampson at the PE branch of the SA Weather Service reports, however, that Joubertina only received 7 mm.
Conditions are expected to clear from the west, with some light rain still expected along the coast and adjacent interior.
