Good rainfall has been recorded over the majority of the Eastern Cape during the Easter weekend.
Spokesperson for the weather office in Port Elizabeth, Garth Sampson says up to 8 o'clock this morning, 47.2 mm was measured in PE, 116.3 in East London, 80 in Port Alfred, 72 in Somerset East and 61 in Grahamstown.
Other places which measured more than 20 mm, are Uitenhage with 55mm, Cradock 54.2, Mthatha 42.1, Bisho 38.8, Graaf-reinet 29, Queenstown 25 and Plettenberg Bay 21.6.
Sampson says clearance can be expected later on Monday.
