The Port Elizabeth high court heard on Tuesday that one of the four suspects charged with the murder of Walmer Country Club manager Gerrie Hoekstra, intends to plead guilty.
State prosecutor Marlini Moodley says 41-year-old Abduragmaan Hendriks has indicated to the state that he intends to enter into a plea agreement.
She also says that 32-year old Charne Brown will apply for a stay of prosecution.
The other co-accused are 29-year old Sherwin Leander and 40-year old Karen Van der Merwe.
The case was potponed until friday.
The 61-year-old former EP rugby coach was gunned down during a robbery in November 2010.
