George woman attacked whilst taking out rubbish

George police are still searching for four men who attacked a woman while she was taking out her rubbish bags earlier this week.

Police say the victim was assaulted at ten o clock on Thursday night outside her house in Hoewkil.

The victim took out her rubbish bags when she was accosted by four men who strangled her, before tying her up and ransacking her house.

The suspects fled with several goods stolen from her home and are still at large.

The woman, who reportedly lives alone, is still being treated at the George Hospital.
