George teacher found murdered in her home

The body of a former teacher from George was found in her home in Pacaltsdorp on Monday.

The teacher has been identified as 62 year old Audrey Fivaz.

According to police, it seems as if Fivaz was strangled in her home in Clinic Street where she lived on her own.Her body was discovered on her bed but police suspect that she was first attacked in her kitchen and then dragged to her bedroom.

Police spokesperson captain Malcolm Pojie says no arrests have been made.
