Police in George is seeking the assistance of the public in the search for 58-year-old Robert Schroeder who was last seen over a week ago.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies says Schroeder attended a function in Herold, a hamlet just outside George on Sunday 11 August.
He says Schroeder is 1.89m tall, weighs 90kg and has a full beard.
A search for Schroeder in the vicinity has been unsuccessful.
