George police are searching for a man who attacked and raped an 86-year-old woman at the weekend.
Police Captain Malcolm Pojie says the woman was attacked in her home in Rosemore in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He says the suspect also threatened to rape the woman's granddaughter who was asleep in the outbuilding at the back of the house.
Pojie says anyone who may able to assist the investigation should contact the police.
