George police have arrested a 22-year old suspect in Geelhoutboom for the murder of 53- year old John de Lange.
Police Captain Bernadine Steyn, says the suspect allegedly stabbed de Lange in his chest while walking along a foot path on a farm in Geelhoutboom on Sunday.
Steyn says the suspect is expected to appear in the George magistrates court on Tuesday.
In a second incident in George, a 22-year old suspect is due in court on Monday for the murder of 47-year old Cornelius Oosthuizen.
Steyn says it is alleged that the suspect took out a knife and stabbed Oosthuizen in the left side of his chest following an argument over the weekend in Hoekwil.
