The George Municipality says several areas remain without power following yesterday's storm.
However, the Municipality says most power has been restored to most of the larger areas.
According to a statement on Sunday, the high voltage areas that still require work are -
Glenwood Lane
FM Tower
Hoekwil, Platrif
Herolds Bay
The statement says "most of the customers in these areas do have power."
"Our Electro-technical staff have worked throughout the night with only a short break and are at work today to continue repairs and attending to complaints. We continue to ask for the community's patience and understanding."
