Two men died in a horror accident on the N2 near Great Brak River in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says the driver of a truck travelling in the direction of George lost control of his vehicle and ploughed through the roadside barrier and into the one way lane of the N2 near Glentana.
Pojie says the truck's trailers were scattered around the corner of the N2 when another truck travelling in the direction of Mossel Bay hit the trailers.
Pojie says a 48-year-old man from George who stopped at the scene and tried to warn other motorists was hit by the truck and died on the scene.
He says a 37-year-old passenger in one of the trucks who is from Port Elizabeth was also declared dead on the scene.
Pojie says two men were taken to the George Hospital with light injuries.
