The George Municipality has extended its heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support received through food donations following last week's building collapse.
It says at this time, the amount of food received is more than sufficient to meet the needs of the affected families.
The municipality says the food has been delivered at the George Civic Centre but those who still want to donate should please deliver it to the AGS Soteria Church.
It says the generosity shown by the community has been remarkable.
Meanwhile, workers continue looking for the remains of at least 19 people as the operation enters its 10th day.
Only one person was recovered from the rubble in the last 24 hours.
The official death toll is standing at 33.
Identification process
The formal identification process of 18 victims has been completed by the Victim Identification Centre and Forensic Pathology Service (FPS).
They consist of 14 men and four women.
The municipality says seven of the victims are South Africans, five from Zimbabwe, five from Malawi, two from Mozambique and one from Lesotho.
