The Entreprenuer of the Year award went to Jonel Ackerman, whose online company Farm Fresh Direct delivers fresh produce from local producers to clients.
Ingrid Cronje of the George Business Chamber says Ackerman won the award for her sustainable business model which supports local producers and the community.
The awards were made on Friday evening at a gala event attended by Western Cape Economic Development Minister, Allan Winde.
