Transport Minister Dipuo Peters says the investigation into the car accident that killed Gauteng Economic Development MEC Nkosiphendule Kolisile should be sped up,
She says in a statement that the tragic passing of MEC Kolisile and his protectors is a monumental loss not only to the people of the province of Gauteng but the nation as a whole.
Kolisile was killed in a head-on collision with a truck in the early hours of Saturday morning on his way to a funeral in Queenstown.
Its believed the MEC's vehicle was making way for an ambulance, when they went into on-coming traffic and collided with a truck.
Kolisile and his bodyguards Sergeant Tebogo Motsei and Constable Tshepo Jobo, died on the scene.
