A Port Elizabeth man has been shot dead and another man wounded in a suspected gang-related shooting in Bloemendal on Sunday night.
Police spokesperson, captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says 26-year-old Leroy Jooste died on the way to hospital.
The second victim, Raymond Lloyd, was wounded in the arm.
Janse Van Rensburg says the the two were working with other people in a storeroom when several shots were fired through the wooden door.
She says the suspect is known to the police and an arrest is expected soon.
Meanwhile, Janse van Rensburg says a 23-year-old man was wounded in another suspected gang shooting in Denson Street in Bloemedal.
She says the suspect approached the victim who was crossing the road and fired several shots at him.
He was admitted to hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and will appear in court soon on a charge of attempted murder.
