Suspended Nelson Mandela Bay municipal manager, Johan Mettler, is expected to take the stand again on Tuesday in the Port Elizabeth Commercial Crimes Court.
He is giving evidence for the state in the trial of former EP rugby boss, Cheeky Watson, and three co-accused, Nadia Gerwel, Mandisa Mkasa and Andrea Wessels.
They've been charged with fraud and money-laundering involving an amount of R12 million related to the city's Integrated Public Transport System.
In his testimony on Monday, Mettler shared his insight on the Metro's municipal supply chain management policies.
He also explained to the court how the IPTS project was funded and how the procurement process works.
Prominent Port Elizabeth attorney, Alywn Griebenow no longer represents Watson in this trial.
Watson is now represented by Danie Gouws.
