Four people from Mossel Bay have been killed in an accident on the N-2 on the PE side of the tollgate.
Police spokesperson, lieutenant-colonel Priscilla Naidu, says they were travelling to Port Elizabeth when their car was involved in a collission with another vehicle on Wednesday.
She says one person in the other car was injured.
Naidu says the names of the victims, a man and three women, have not yet been released.
A case of culpable homicide is being investigated.
