Gqeberha police are appealing for information that will assist in solving four separate murders reported in New Brighton on Thursday.
In one incident, 30-year-old Nceba Ntilili was gunned down outside his house in Tshiwula Street at around 4 pm.
It is alleged that approximately six suspects approached his vehicle, a silver VW Polo while he was seated inside.
Ntilili ran towards his house as multiple shots were fired at him.
Police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, says about two hours later, in an unrelated incident, 50-year-old Mzwakhe Baskiti died after shots were fired at his car at Mbizweni Square.
She says in the third incident, police responded to complaints of shooting in Sangotsha Street.
When police arrived on the scene paramedics were attending to the 40-year-old Phumeza Rwayibane who died later from multiple gunshot wounds.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says a second body, that of the 55-year-old Siphumle Gade, was found in a backyard.
