Four people have been detained in Cradock in connection with a spate of house-robberies over the past fortnight.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Elmarie van Eck, says the suspects, aged between 18 and 23, were arrested in Lingelihle on Wednesday.
She says the suspects were allegedly in possession of goods stolen from 51 year old Hettie Philps, who's body was found in a bath in her Aalwyn Street home this week.
Van Eck says police also seized goods stolen in at least 14 house-robberies in Cradock in the past two weeks.
She says police are also investigating a possible link to Philps' murder.
