Four people have been killed in a road accident on the N2 near Dutywa.
Police captain Jackson Manatha says three men and a woman travelling towards Dutywa were killed instantly in the accident that on Thursday morning.
A 5th person was critically injured.
Manatha says the driver of the other vehicle was only slightly injured and is being treated in hospital at Butterworth.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released and a culpable homicide docket has been opened.
