One person has been arrested following a gang-related shooting in Bethelsdorp, Port Elizabeth.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer, Alwin Labans says the incident occurred in an open field on Monday night between Denson and Lodewyk Street.
He says 4 men were walking in the field when they were approached by 3 gunmen.
"There were 10-12 shots fired, the police found 9 cartridges on the scene and they arrested one known gang member, he is 25 years old and will appear in court soon" Labans said.
