Four arrested outside Komani for transporting alcohol worth R3 040

Four suspects are due to appear in the Queenstown Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday for the illegal transportation of liquor.

Captain Namhla Mdleleni says they were arrested in the early hours of Monday morning near Lesseyton just outside of Komani.

He says police members swooped on their vehicle after receiving information of a truck transporting liquor.

Several cases of alcohol to the value of R3 450 rand were confiscated.
