Port Elizabeth police have arrested four suspects in connection with cable theft valued at around R100 000
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Thembi Gwe, says the arrests were made in Ikamvelihle in the Motherwell area on Thursday.
She says police investigators were following up information on a business robbery in 2010 when the went to a house in Paahla Street.
"On arrival at the house they found the suspects busy with the cable. Four of them were arrested including the one which the police were looking for in connection with the business robbery," Gwe said.
She added that they will appear in the Motherwell Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.
