Four alleged gang member are due to appear in court in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday in connection with several shooting incidents, one dating back to last year.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans, says they were arrested on Monday.
He says the arrests relate to two attempted murder cases in Gelvandale from 2013.
The other cases were more recent, with one attempted murder case reported in Gelvandale in February and a case of pointing of a fire-arm registered in Bethelsdorp in March.
