The former Glenwood House teacher who was arrested in August 2017 on a charge of sexual grooming of a child, appeared in the Thembalethu Regional Court in George again on Monday.
The case was postponed on 1 April for a Correctional Services report to be presented to the court following numerous earlier postponements.
He was arrested at his home in George after an investigation by the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit into complaints by a learner who was 16-years old at the time.
The case against the ex-teacher, who is out on bail of R2000 with strict conditions, was postponed to 25 June for a "plea and sentence agreement."
The lobby group, Women and Men Against Child Abuse has lashed out at the Department of Correctional Services for the delays in completing the report.
WMACA's Joanne Barrett said that "it is not acceptable to have court dates continuously postponed as more than enough time is dedicated to this department to complete a supervision report. The insensitivity causes secondary and possibly tertiary trauma to the victim."
She said they want the courts to address this as a matter of serious concern adding that WMACA hopes "that the relatively new Minister of Social Development, Susan Shabangu, continues exerting the pressure she has promised."
