Eastern Cape police are investigating the kidnapping of a foreign national who was abducted in Qonce (King Williams Town) by three gunmen.
Captain Mluleki Mbi said the 43-year-old businessman was abducted on Thursday evening from his business in Zone 8 in Zwelitsha.
“His vehicle was later found abandoned at Mlakalaka Village not far from Zwelitsha. A case of Kidnapping and Carjacking has been opened for investigation.”
Mbi appealed to anyone who may have information on the kidnapping or the whereabouts of the businessman to contact their nearest police station.
