Port Elizabeth police are investigating a case of house robbery following an attack on a foreign national in Summerstrand.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stanley Jarvis says it is alleged that two men entered the flat of 38- year-old Julia Jarvis in Bournemouth street in the early hours on Monday morning.
Jarvis says the woman, who is from the United Kingdom and works as a trainer in the health sector, was tied up and choked to the extent that she lost consciousness.
He says the suspects took electronic equipment and other goods before fleeing.
