Five vehicles hijacked in PE over weekend

Police in Kwazakhele, Port Elizabeth, are investigating five cases of car hijacking following a spate of incidents this weekend.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Thembi Gwe, says in all but one of the cases, the vehicles are still missing.

She says none of the complainants were injured during the incidents which occurred in various parts of Kwazakhele and Zwide between Friday and Sunday.

In one of the incidents, a man was hijacked of his bakkie while sitting in a drive-thru at KFC in Njoli Street on Saturday.

Police issued the following details about the hijacked vehicles:

*White Isuzu bakkie - DVM 098 EC

*White Ford Bantam - BBR 445 EC

*White Toyota Corolla - DHG 362 EC

*Gold Toyota Corolla - DxK 763 EC

Anyone who may know the whereabouts of these vehicles should contact their nearest police station.
