The gruesome discovery was made a week ago by employees who were on their way to work.
Brigadier Kinana says police were alerted to the scene and upon arrival, they found the bodies piled up on top of each other.
Four victims' hands were tied behind their backs with rope, while all five had blood on their faces.
No weapons were at the scene and the motive for the killings is unknown at this stage.
The victims were later identified by their families as Xola Makuleni (32); Simenkosini Makuleni (29); Xolile Makuleni (30); Sanelisiwe Magusha (30) and Sibongiseni Kalipa aged 29.
