Five people have been killed and 7 seriously injured in a head-on collision on the R408 near Tsomo in the Eastern Cape.
Provincial traffic spokesperson, Tsepo Machaea says the collision between a VW Polo and an Isuzu bakkie happened on Saturday evening.
He says it is suspected that the driver of one of the vehicles did not have a driver's licence.
The cause of the accident is not known, and police are investigating.
