Fires continue to rage in Hessequa area in Eden District Municipality

More than 100 fire fighters are reportedly battling devastating fires that are still raging through the Hessequa area.

Eden District Municipality firefighters, as well fire fighters from Hessequa,  Mossel Bay and George Municipalities are hard at work.

They're being supported by Working on Fire and CapeNature, working tirelessly to fight fires in order to protect communities, infrastructure and agricultural land.

A stakeholder meeting was held Wednesday night in Riversdale to discuss the situation.
