Two fire-fighters were injured while battling Sunday night's devastating fires in St Francis Bay.
The Kouga Municipality says one fireman fell through a roof while another hurt his hip.
Both have since been discharged from hospital.
Kouga Municipality spokesperson, Laura Leigh Randall, says Eastern Cape Local Government MEC, Mlibo Qoboshiyane, had visited the area Monday afternoon.
He said his office "would be working with the municipality to do a needs analysis of those residents and home-owners who lost houses and homes in the fire, so that government's disaster management units can identify ways to assist those affected."
Meanwhile, police will deploy extra manpower to patrol the areas affected by the fires to prevent any looting of damaged property.
