Father and son shot and killed at Arlington Tip in Gqeberha

Gqeberha police are investigating a double murder at the Arlington Tip on Monday morning.

Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg says a 47-year-old man and his 26-year-old son arrived at the Tip at around 11 am, and while they were busy offloading their rubbish, the father was shot and killed while standing outside his bakkie.

She says his son was shot while still seated in the passenger seat.

The motive for the attack is still unknown.

No arrests have yet been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Janse van Rensburg said the names of the deceased would be released once their next of kin had identified them.
