A father and son from King Wiliams Town appeared in the local Magistrates court on Monday for allegedly dealing in drugs.
A spokesperson for the Hawks Anelisa Feni says they received information from an informer earlier this year that the 58-year-old Mervin van Rooyen was selling tik from his house in Breidbach.
She says this resulted in a six-week undercover operation which led to the arrest of Van Rooyen and his 32-year-old son Alister.
The arrest was a joint operation with various law enforcement units.
Feni says during the arrest they also confiscated R61 000 in cash and Tik, with a street value of R34 000.
The father and son's next court appearance is on the 7th of August when they will bring a formal bail application.
