Family of 7 injured in N2 accident west of Port Elizabeth

A family of seven were injured following an accident between a taxi and a car on the N2 west of Port Elizabeth near the Blue Horizon Bay off ramp on Tuesday morning.

Police spokesperson, Captain Johan Rheeder says the taxi was travelling from Mthatha to Jeffrey's Bay when it lost control after a white Golf stopped on the road.

He says the people were injured after the taxi overturned.

Police are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving.
