Eastern Cape police are searching for the gunmen who opened fire on three Ethiopian nationals in their business premises, killing two men and wounding a third.
Police spokesperson, Lieutenant-Colonel Siphokazi Mawisa, said the shooting occurred on Tuesday on High Street in Cofimvaba.
She said it’s alleged that two men entered the business and fired shots at the three men, aged between 32 and 35.
Mawisa said they were taken to a hospital where two men succumbed to their injuries.
The third victim is receiving further treatment.
Police said two counts of murder and one of attempted murder are under investigation, while the motive for the shooting is not yet known.
