The trial of the Enyobeni tavern owner and her husband will get underway in the East London Magistrate's Court in November.
Forty-three-year-old Vuyokazi Ndevu and her 52-year-old husband, Siyakwamkela, made a brief appearance in court today where the matter was postponed to the 25th of next month.
The National Prosecuting Authority says they are charged with two offences, that of selling or supplying intoxicating liquor to persons under the age of 18 years.
Spokesperson, Luxolo Tyali, says the other charge relates to conniving with and permitting employees and agents to sell or deliver intoxicating liquor to persons under the age of 18 years.
He said another leg of the case which relates to the release of the toxicology report confirming the exact cause of death of 21 young people, is still under investigation by the police.
Tyali says the NPA awaits the docket from the police, before deciding on possible further charges.
