Two post office employees are among four people arrested in connection with a business robbery at the Ngqamakwe Post Office at the weekend.
Eastern Cape Police spokesperson, Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana say two men entered the post office on Saturday morning and took an undisclosed amount of money at gunpoint before leaving a cleaner and teller locked in the office.
The four suspects between the ages of 31 and 51 were arrested on Sunday.
The alleged owner of the getaway vehicle was among the arrested suspects together with his son.
Some of the money was also recovered at his home.
Brigadier Kinana says the suspects will appear in the Butterworth Magistrate's court soon on charges relating to a Business Robbery.
