Elusive Knysna elephant spotted twice in past two weeks

An elusive Knysna elephant has been spotted twice in the past two weeks.
SANparks spokesperson, Nandi Mgwadlamba confirmed that Oupoot, the famous Knysna elephant, has been seen by SANpark rangers.
Mgwadlamba said they suspect there are between one and five elephants in the Knysna forest and that the location of their whereabouts cannot be disclosed.
According to Mgwadlamba, SANParks's monitoring techniques are non-intrusive.
She says these include gathering data on feeding signs and taking dung samples for elephant hormone studies.
