Elderly woman raped in her house in Port Elizabeth

 An elderly woman was raped and robbed in her Greenshields Park home in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred at about one o'clock when four men gained entry to the house through a back door.
Police spokesperson, Captain Stanley Jarvis, says the intruders took the 72-year-old woman to her lounge and ransacked it for valuable goods.
One of the suspects then took the woman to the bathroom where she was raped.
The attackers fled on foot with computer equipment.
The woman is receiving counselling.
