Elderly woman dies amidst Plett protest

The Bitou Municipality at Plettenberg Bay said that an elderly woman had died during this past week’s protest period.

In a brief statement on Saturday, Bitou Municipality mayor, Msimbothi Lobese, and his Council offered condolences to the family of the deceased.

While full details are being awaited it is believed that the 80-year-old woman was from New Horizons.

She has not yet been identified.
