An 84 year-old man will be back in the Uitenhage Magistrate's court on Tuesday on a charge of murdering 74 year-old Dolores Ferreira earlier this year.
Douglas Myberg is out on bail of R500.
Uitenhage police spokesperson Warrant Officer Gerda Swart says Ferreira died in the Provincial Hospital on the 20th of January from un-natural causes.
She had multiple injuries to her body - allegedly sustained in a fall.
However, a murder docket was opened and Myberg was arrested the same day.
He made an initial court appearance two days later.
