Elderly PE man attacked in home

 An elderly man was attacked in his house in Rowallan Park, Port Elizabeth in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Alwin Labans says the 71-year old was found on the floor in his house in Sterling street with multiple stab wounds.

He was admitted to hospital in a critical condition.

Labans says the alarm went off at around 3 o'clock, and three men were seen fleeing the scene on foot.
