A man who went missing from the Covid-19 quarantine facility at the Nelson Mandela Stadium on the 5th of June last year has been found alive.
Mount Road detectives have confirmed that 73-year-old John Doch was found alive and well on Monday morning at the Daku Community Hall in Kwazakele.
Its been established that Doch, who suffers from dementia, had been at the shelter since August/September last year.
The community hall was set up for the homeless people during the COVID 19 lockdown levels.
Colonel Priscilla Naidu says he will be reunited with his family in Graaff-Reinet on Tuesday.
