Police in the Eastern Cape are looking for an unknown number of suspects who murdered an elderly man on his farm in Henderson, which is a farmstead in the Chris Hani District Municipality.
Spokesperson Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana says it is alleged that one of the local farmers went to visit the victim on Sunday morning when his body was found.
The 75-year-old man was already dead.
Kinana says the victim was assaulted and his vehicle was found abandoned an burnt.
Police are investigating the circumstances around the murder and also opened a case of malicious damage to property.
