Eastern Cape police have arrested two men, aged 22 and 30 for murder in Ntabankulu.
Captain Mlungisi Matidane says the suspects were arrested on Monday morning, after a 78 year old man was killed at Tsita Locality in Ntabankulu on Saturday.
It is alleged that the deceased was coming back from a traditional ceremony in a nearby village when he was followed, attacked and killed by the two men at his homestead.
Matidane says the motive for the killing is still unknown.
The suspects will appear in court on Tuesday.
